15.02.2023Launch your career in Bremen!
28.02.2023Together and through targeted cross-clustering with other sectors such as the automotive industry, wind energy or shipbuilding, the member companies of AVIASPACE BREMEN e.V. actively strengthen and promote the aerospace strategy of the state of Bremen. In a new video series, we are now presenting the people and the innovative ideas of the companies that are part of the AVIASPACE BREMEN e.V. association.
According to the innovation strategy Land Bremen 2030, the central key industry in the state of Bremen is the aeronautics and space sector. And – already today, more than 140 companies and 20 scientific institutes drive Bremen’s aerospace industry. Around 12,000 employees thus generate over four billion euros per year. In addition to major players such as Airbus Group, ArianeGroup or OHB, a large number of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) as well as a growing number of startups are responsible for making Bremen an aerospace hub called “CITY of AEROSPACE”.
The AVIASPACE video series therefore focuses on portraits of the medium-sized member companies, most of which achieve great things far away from the public eye. The visits to Applus+ BK Werkstofftechnik, Hanseatic Aviation Solutions GmbH, b.r.m. at the Oldenburg-Hatten airfield, AES Aircraft Elektro/Elektronik System GmbH, DSI Aerospace and ZARM Technik have already been published. And – in 2023, more home visits are to follow. At the moment, for example, the editorial team is fine-tuning the “Visiting…” videos at Eickworth and Ilsemann Carbon.
