NEW YEAR’S RECEPTION OF THE CITY OF AEROSPACE “100 YEARS OF AIRCRAFT CONSTRUCTION BREMEN” IN BERLIN
19.01.2024New Members in AVIASPACE BREMEN e.V.: TOOLTIP GmbH and Tecnics Software Engineering GmbH
15.02.2024The 100th anniversary of Bremen as a centre of aviation provides a good opportunity to familiarize the schoolchildren of Bremen and Bremerhaven with the field of aviation and aerospace.
This is why many schoolchildren in the third and fourth grades in the federal state of Bremen can take part in the ‘ZUKUNFTSLIEGER’ competition organized by the aerospace industry. The competition is an educational initiative organized by the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI).
Whether building a rocket out of cardboard or making spacesuits, class communities and groups from the third and fourth grades can engage in creative project work on aerospace.
The closing date for entries is 24 April 2024
Every class that registers a project will be honoured.
You can find more information at skyfuture: School competition.
The ZUKUNFTSFLIEGER website also provides interesting and easily accessible teaching materials for both teachers and schoolchildren.
In Bremen, children can deepen their understanding of aerospace topics in a fun and interesting way with the ZUKUNFTSFLIEGER experiment kits provided by the City of Aerospace Bremen Bremerhaven. Here, school groups can tinker, experiment and learn about the physical principles of aeronautics and space. The experiment kits can be used not only in science lessons, but also in art lessons or even to expand foreign language vocabulary.
