10.09.2024ESA BIC Northern Germany shines at Bremen Startups Pitch Night
16.09.2024We are excited to welcome tenics, a cutting-edge software engineering company, as the newest member of the Aviaspace community. With a focus on aeronautics and space embedded systems, IoT, and more, tenics is dedicated to improving the software development process, making it more agile, dependable, and transparent for companies tackling complex engineering challenges.
Who is tenics?
Founded in 2021 by Dirk Roßkamp, tenics was born out of a desire to solve complex software challenges within the high-tech sector. After more than a decade of experience at OHB, where he served as a software engineer, software project manager and head of software, Dirk decided to venture out on his own, establishing tenics in Bremen. Initially a solo endeavor, the company quickly expanded to a team of four, driven by the mission to elevate software engineering standards in critical industries.
What tenics offers
tenics specializes in software engineering services with a particular focus on the aeronautics and space sector. Their expertise lies in developing embedded software—programs integrated directly into hardware systems, like satellites and ground systems. This software is a crucial component of complex products, often carrying significant development risks that can impact the entire project. tenics addresses these challenges with a hands-on, agile approach, ensuring that their solutions not only meet the highest quality standards but also enhance development speed.
Beyond aeronautics and space, tenics collaborates with startups and deep-tech companies in various industries, including renewable energy. Their ability to manage software projects from concept to implementation makes them a valuable partner for companies looking to innovate and stay ahead in competitive fields. tenics’ approach is characterized by simplicity, transparency, and a commitment to improving teamwork in complex environments through measurable and effective processes.
Why Join Aviaspace?
“Joining Aviaspace was a natural step for tenics as we sought to become part of Bremen’s vibrant aeronautics and space community”, says Founder and CEO Dirk Roßkamp. The membership offers tenics access to a wide network of industry players, from established giants to innovative startups, facilitating opportunities for collaboration and growth. By being part of Aviaspace, tenics aims to expand its influence within the aeronautics and space sector while continuing to provide top-tier software solutions across industries. The decision to join was driven by the recognition that Aviaspace is not just an industry association for large companies but also for dynamic startups and SMEs that are shaping the future of aeronautics and space technology.
