DIGITAL BRAINSTORMING SESSION: Collaboration between Zuid-Holland and Bremen in Aviation on 03.12.2024

03. 12. 2024 9:00 - 11:30

We cordially invite our members and network partners to a workshop program aimed to stimulate further consortia building for joint R&D-projects in the aviation sector between Zuid-Holland and Bremen. The workshop program will take place on Tuesday, 03.12.24 (09:00-11:30) as a virtual meeting. The aim of the brainstorming session is to identify commitment on project ideas. All participating partners are encouraged to bring in ideas and express their interest for a joint R&D-project. Projects should generally have the goal to build one or more demonstrators in the field of ‘Advanced Wing & Moveables / Flight Controls, Digitized design & manufacturing for sustainable aviation’ and ‘Future sustainable propulsion systems / novel energy carriers’. This in order to valorize innovations and showcase jointly developed capabilities of industry in both regions.

We believe by leveraging shared expertise and existing assets this initiative will strengthen the aviation ecosystems in both regions. To capitalize on emerging opportunities and shared interests a consortium of likeminded aviation players from both regions will be stimulated and facilitated with the aim of developing joint Research & Development projects. The core of cooperation activities will be based in Bremen and Zuid-Holland. However, we consider this to be an opportunity to include industrial partners from the larger region of Northern Germany and other parts of The Netherlands.

The planned agenda is as follows:

03.12.2024, 09:00-11:30 Digital brainstorming session
