Introducing: TOPAS, Bringing Mathematical Intelligence to Autonomous Systems
31.03.2025Dear members of AVIASPACE Bremen e.V.,
We are pleased to share with you the success of our roadshow at DLR Institute of Space Systems yesterday. The event took place on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, at the DLR location in Bremen and provided a great opportunity to gain insights into the current research and development activities of DLR in the field of spaceflight.
The roadshow began at 2:00 PM with the arrival of guests, followed by a warm welcome from the institute’s leadership, Prof. Andreas Rittweger and Uwe Knodt. This was followed by an informative presentation by Prof. Rittweger about the DLR Institute of Space Systems, where the current projects, goals, and future directions of the institute were introduced.
Afterward, participants had the chance to tour the laboratories and exhibits of DLR. The tour was divided into two parts: the first group explored the laboratory hall with Prof. Rittweger, while the second group visited the EDEN-Labor, STARS, TRON, and the Digital Cleanroom under the guidance of Mr. Knodt. After about 45 minutes, the groups switched so that everyone could experience the different facilities.

Overall, the DLR roadshow was a great success, offering both exciting insights and valuable conversations. We thank the DLR team for their warm hospitality and informative tours.
We are already looking forward to the next events and further exciting collaborations!
