01.07.2021We are pleased to welcome the Gauss-Olbers Space Technology Space Centre (GOC) as a new member of Aviaspace Bremen e.V.
With the approval of the statutes by the Head of the University of Bremen, the ‘Gauss-Olbers Space Technology Space Centre’ was founded in January 2021 as an interdisciplinary institute. The aim of the institute is research and development as well as bidirectional transfer of aeronautics and space knowledge and technologies for various fields of application in the Bremen region. The founding members, Prof. Armin Dekorsy, Prof. Christof Büskens, Prof. Claus Lämmerzahl and Frank Bittner, are especially dedicated to the three research fields of small satellites, exploration/navigation and quantum technology as technology drivers of future aeronautics and space applications.
