08.09.2026 - 11.09.2026

Following a successful study trip in 2025, the German‑Norwegian Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Norwegian Space Cluster, is pleased to invite German companies to participate in a business delegation to Bodø and Andøya from 8 to 11 September 2026.
The study trip is aimed at companies active in the space sector, as well as those considering entry into the sector. It offers a unique opportunity to gain first‑hand insight into the Norwegian space ecosystem, while expanding professional networks and identifying new potential partners and market opportunities.
Northern Norway: A Strategic Space Region
Northern Norway is rapidly emerging as a key hub for Europe’s sovereign space capabilities. With the opening of Andøya Spaceport as Europe’s first commercial launch base for small satellites, Norway has positioned itself at the forefront of several strategic space domains, including:
- Secure and autonomous access to space
- Earth observation and maritime surveillance
- Defence and dual‑use applications
- Downstream space‑enabled services
Recent test activities by Isar Aerospace from Andøya further highlight the region’s growing momentum and its increasing strategic importance within the European space ecosystem.
At the same time, Bodø has developed into a dynamic space hub, bringing together startups, research institutions, public stakeholders and investors, with a strong focus on security, sustainability and arctic applications.
This study trip offers participants direct access to this ecosystem at a time when strategic partnerships are taking shape and market opportunities are expanding.
