Bremen and Kobe are about to write the next chapter in their growing aerospace partnership. On Friday, 23 October 2026, the Kobe – Bremen Space & Aerospace Business Exchange will bring together leading aerospace companies, research institutes, and innovative SMEs from Germany and Japan for a full day of exchange, pitching, and networking at ECOMAT in Bremen.

Earlier this year, Bremen’s Mayor Andreas Bovenschulte traveled to Japan as President of the German Bundesrat, leading a high-level delegation that represents Bremen’s business, science, and culture. Over seven days, the delegation visited Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe to expand international partnerships and create new opportunities for collaboration in aerospace, science, and technology.

The October Business Exchange at ECOMAT brings this vision to the next level by connecting companies, research institutions, and innovation leaders from both regions.
